Crooked colleagues, escaped lunatics, bloody payroll heists, overzealous junior officers, and a gang of aristocratic bank robbers... All in a dayās work for Detective Inspector George Gideon (Hawkins). And all obstacles preventing him from attending his daughterās violin recital.Ā
Known in the US as Gideon of Scotland Yard, Gideonās Day was shot on location in London by the great Freddie Young (Lawrence of Arabia, The Deadly Affair), and is adapted from the first novel in the best-selling series by legendary crime writer John Creasey (aka J J Marric).
